Paper and Ribbon for the CP-D80DW Printer. The Mitsubishi photo printers use dye-sublimation technology for photographic printing. To make these color prints, paper and ribbon with ink is needed. On the ribbon are sheets with the colors: Cyan, Magenta and Yellow and also an Overcoating. The thermal head in the printer burn the ink on the paper. The overcoat which is also on the ink ribbon protects the print from discoloration from UV, light and the air making the prints water-resistant.
