Technical Notice for Mitsubishi users using MAC for the CP-D90DW, CP-D80DW, CP-K60DW-S, CP-M1A, CP-D70DW, and CP-W5000DW printers.
Please be aware that Apple™ will soon release a new operating system for Mac computers. The new macOS “Catalina” OS10.15 in which it brings changes that will make older, non-64-bit applications incompatible with the OS.
Current model Mitsubishi Electric printers with older MAC OS drivers will continue to run with Mac computers that are NOT updated to the new Catalina OS 10.15 64-bit OS.
Mitsubishi strongly suggests that updates be postponed by users of their printers until end of the first quarter in 2020, when they will publish new 64-bit MAC OS drivers compatible with macOS Catalina.
Print jobs sent to Mitsubishi printers will fail unless the printer’s driver is compatible with the macOS in use.
They intend to support the new macOS Catalina (10.15.x). Drivers are currently under development based on the developer version of macOS 10.15. Current status is that
CP-D90DW and CP-D90DW-P are under Beta testing, and CP-D80DW and CP-K60DW(S) are in Alpha testing. Once macOS 10.15 is officially released , we will perform full testing for the drivers of these models and target release by year end. Updated Mac Drivers for the new CP-M1A and CP-D70DWto support macOS 10.15 will follow shortly in early 2020.
Unfortunately, Mitsubishi will only develop new Mac Drivers for current models listed above and not for the Discontinued models listed below:
CP9000 series, CP9500 series, CP9800 series, CP3800DW, and CP3020 series.

Do we have any further news on this?? So frustrating not being able to clean my Mac for the 2020 season!!!
The new 64-bit MAC OS drivers compatible with macOS Catalina should be available by the end of the first quarter in 2020. The end of the first quarter is 31st of March. Almost there.
