An unexpected problem occurred with an old release of DSLR Remote Pro for Windows (2.4.1) on Saturday (June 1st) which has stopped some customers using the DSLR Remote Pro software for Windows 2.4.1. (only for Windows 2.4.1)
Though not many use Windows 2.4.1 it should be noted that anyone with that old Windows edition for DSLR Remote Pro on or after Saturday June 1st should be advised to upgrade to a later release immediately. This will fix the problem:
The current release of DSLR Remote Pro for Windows 2.5.3 is a free upgrade for all customers that have this software version and can be downloaded from http://www.breezesys.com/downloads.htm#dslrremotepro
If anyone is at an event and does not have internet access and does not have time to install a newer version you can apply a temporary fix by setting the system date on the PC to May 31, 2013.
You must reset the clock the following day to the correct date and upgrade the software.
