DNP announces the availability of a Mac driver for their high-speed RX1 Dye Sub Printer.
This is great news as the machine can be operated natively from Mac OS and can be incorporated into a Mac based workflow along with other DNP printers. And just in case this was keeping anyone from getting this printer, now it’s the perfect time to get it.
The new DNP RX1 driver supports Mac OS versions:
- 10.5 (Leopard)
- 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
- 10.7 (Lion)
In addition to the various print functions, it also reports the amount of Prints Remaining. Note that this version does not support the 2×6 cut option, but it will be added to a future version.
