I have a DNP RX1 printer. I have an app in my ipad called simple booth. I want to be able to print with the RX1 but it is not an AirPrint. Would your app, Mobile Party Print Software help me print using the DNP RX1?
    Thank you

Hello,I have a question. Is there a need of a computer or when the usb dongle is inserted into printer it works completly without using a computer?

    • Yes, you do need a PC to run the MPP Software.
      Recommended PC specs are:
      Windows 7/XP (32 or 64 bit)
      2GB RAM or greater
      1024×768 video resolution or greater
20 GB of free disk space

More info on product can be found >HERE<.

can this work with a hi-ti printer, or only the printers listed?

  5. I’m thinking of buying this app from the US to use in the UK. Do you think this might be a problem? Are there any restrictions on this?
    Thanks,

    Paul

    • I do not think it will work since the end user (guests at the event) have to go to the iTunes or Android stores and download the App to send photos to the printer. They will not be able to access these (USA) stores outside the USA, since I believe the websites will always default to the local stores where the user is located – i.e. the UK. Hope that answers your question.

  6. I am really interested in the mobile party print software, but I have one question, it may be stupid but I’m gonna ask. So you need the netgear wifi router, but I will also need some type of internet service correct? what is the best internet service that is mobile? because I would use this mobile party print software and application at halls, parties, other events, so I would need my internet service to be mobile. Any suggestions or comments you can offer on this subject would be great.

    • Hi Darla

      •Correct. You need a router.
•But for the MPP software on the CPU to which the is connected you do not need an Internet connection.
•The router just creates a local (non Internet) wireless network to which guests connect.
•Guests just access the printer via the MPP software using the local network created by the wireless router. The idea is that the person holding the event has a counter card or poster or something telling guests the name of the network to connect to.
•HOWEVER. Guests at an event DO have to download the app on their mobile phones from iTunes or Android market so they can take a photo and send it to the printer.
•Their mobile phone needs Internet access (which most people already have) so they can download the app. That’s the only Internet access needed.
•As I say, after the guests download the app, they just connect to the router’s local network, take a photo and print.

Does that answer your question? If you need anything clarifying, please let me know.

  7. Mobile Party Print APP STORE?

the app only works with the USA App Store, is there anything you can do to make it work with the Mexican App Store?

    • Yes it currently only works with the USA App Store. DNP is exploring putting it on the Latin American and Canadian App/Google Android stores but has a different approval process for both company stores. Hopefully at some point in the future it will be there and we will notify everyone on our social sites like on here once they do. Stay tuned!
